As a wholesale packaging distributor, MICROPAK is an economical alternative to advertising specialties suppliers that work at higher margins. Many of our stock products can be customized with your imprint, including paper and plastic bags, boxes, and ribbon. Even more options and savings are available for projects over 5,000 pieces.

While we can print or hot stamp as little as one carton of an item, it is most economical to imprint at least 1,000 combined pieces (bags/boxes) with the same plate/same color when possible. Lead time for stock product imprint is typically four weeks from receipt of: Signed Order Confirmation, Final Artwork in Adobe Illustrator vector graphics format, and Deposit. Stock orders are subject to a 5% under run.

HOT STAMP AND INK PRINT PROGRAM FOR BAGS AND BOXES

All prices are per 1000 quantity or “lot”. (Any quantity less than 1000 is a “lot”). Hot stamping, ink printing, freight charges and plate charges are in addition to the product cost.

Orders will be shipped within 4 weeks of final approval of artwork.

The minimum order is one case. Orders for less than 1000 units (bags, boxes, etc.) will be charged a “lot” charge, which equals the M price. For example, a hot stamp order for 250 bags will be charged the same hot stamp price as 1000 bags.

All products (paper bags, plastic bags, boxes) may be combined to accumulate for the per thousand price as long as the same plate and same color are used for hot stamping, and the same plate and same color are used for ink printing.

An order involving two plates for two different product sizes constitutes two separate jobs. Each job will be priced separately to determine hot stamping or ink printing charges.

Orders are subject to a 5% under run.

There is a $150.00 charge per color for custom hot stamp or ink print colors.

A proof will be provided for final approval via fax. A press proof is available for a charge of $50.00.

There is a $50.00 charge for artwork and copy changes when supplied art is not camera-ready.

Camera-ready artwork is required; otherwise additional art charges may apply. Faxes are not acceptable art for reproduction. Artwork must be submitted with fonts and with a minimum 300 dpi resolution. All non-standard fonts must be supplied. Artwork must be submitted in a vector graphics format, preferably using Adobe Illustrator. Other programs such as Freehand and Corel Draw are acceptable, but the finished art should be saved in the Illustrator format.

Note:

Two color jobs require 1/4" spacing between colors and no critical alignment.

Eurototes, frosted shopping bags, and gloss coated bags cannot be ink printed.

Hot stamped designs that include continuous borders do not print well.

Fine lines and large prints with reverse-outs do not print well and art may need to be modified.

Half-tones or screens cannot be hot-stamped or ink printed.

HOT STAMP RIBBON PROGRAM

Custom 1-color hot stamping available in all sizes of Double Face Satin, Single Face Satin, Garbo, and Silky Satin. There is a 500 yard minimum per item, however, you can assort different ribbon types or colors for the 500 yard minimum as long as the same plate and the same hot stamp color are used. The order must be for full roll increments per item.

1/4" minimum spacing between images
24" maximum spacing between images
12" maximum plate length
Maximum image height 1/4" less than ribbon width

Can cut ribbon into strips - minimum length 1", no maximum length. Standard cut has sawtooth edges. Add 10% to hot stamp ribbon cost for cutting into strips.
